Orange Sherbet came into our rescue program on May 27, 2019. Orange Sherbet came into our rescue program as an Owner Surrender. Orange Sherbet is a Beautiful, Palomino, Quarter Horse, Mare. Orange Sherbet is estimated to be 3 years of age. Orange Sherbet is a sweet Girl but tends to be a bit aloof, once caught she enjoys attention. Orange Sherbet is halter broke and broke to lead. Orange Sherbet stands for the farrier and loads in a trailer. She is going to make someone a super nice horse with the right amount of time and training. Orange Sherbet has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, and hoof maintenance. Orange Sherbet was picked for our 9th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. She was chosen by Youth Trainer Sara Dickinson. Sara will be working with Orange Sherbet for the next 130 days, turning Orange Sherbet into a dependable riding companion. Sara will be going against 5 Youth Trainers in our Trainer's Challenge. We have a total of 14 trainers competing. Competition is set for May 16, 2020 at the Heart of Oklahoma, Shawnee Expo Center, Shawnee, Oklahoma. Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainer Challenge. Orange Sherbet will be available for adoption throughout the competition on May 16th, 2020 through an all day silent auction. Orange Sherbet is a sweet girl and loves attention. Orange Sherbet has a current negative coggins, up to date on vaccinations, deworming, teeth floating and hoof maintenance. Orange Sherbet has also been freeze branded for her protection. Quick Update from her Trainer, Sara Dickinson Orange Sherbet is a beautiful Palomino. She has come a long way. Orange Sherbet is kind and loves Sara's attention. She has a nice way of goin and moves easily off leg cues and reining. She operates with sensitivity and softness. Outside of the area Orange Sherbet and Sara have traveled many miles, to check or move cattle, this team is ready for the job. Orange Sherbet is sure footed and takes any terrain or challenge willingly and calmly. Sara has also introduced Sherbet to roping and roping the "Smarty" behind the quad.

Sara Dickinson and Team Orange Sherbet did an amazing job at this years Trainers Challenge. We are thrilled to announce that Sara and Orange Sherbet placed 1st in the Youth Division of our 9th Annual Blaze's Ride to the Rescue Trainers Challenge

Orange Sherbet has been adopted to a wonderful family in Cushing, Oklahoma. Orange Sherbet is going to be extremely well loved and spoiled rotten in her forever, loving home. We are thrilled that this beautiful girl found the forever, loving family she deserves, where she will be showered with the time, attention and love she deserves.

We are generally available BY APPOINTMENT Monday - Thursday after 5:30 and generally anytime Friday - Sunday BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We do maintain full time jobs, so we are not always available on weekdays. Please be patient with us and we will return your call/email as soon as possible.
